River Clay Plant Dyed Soft Merino Wrap
A lovely shade of light red clay along the river banks in northern England. This color also shows up in parts of the rocks on the walls in Yorkshire Dales. It’s a neutral that can work with many types of clothing. I dyed this sheer, plain weave merino wool wrap with madder root , kamala, chestnut, and a little bit of lac. Lac is an insect that grows in South East Asia and gives reds to pink colors.
The merino wool yarn is very soft, comfortable, and has a great drape. You can wear this scarf wrap throughout the seasons. Very lightweight and great for travel, summer evenings, cruise wear.
The wrap was washed three times and ironed.
Care: Wash it in a gentle cycle or hand wash in cool water. Hang to dry. If you want to iron it for a smoother look, use a silk setting.
Dimensions: 78” Long, 23" Wide
Care: May we washed on gentle cycle with gentle soap. Hang to dry , and you can iron it.
