Plant Dyed Fern Green Silk Doublecloth Scarf
I dyed this silk scarf with Japanese Barberrywhich gives a brilliant yellow color. Then the scarf was dipped in the indigo vat twice to create this cheerful green.
The scarf is woven on a handloom in India by fair trade artisans. Two warps on the loom are woven at the same time, creating two layers joined by side seams. You can gently pull the layers apart to create more volume for styling.
Care: Lightweight, travel friendly, and washable on a gentle cycle. You can hang it to dry and iron it.
