Indigo Blue Ombre Hand Dyed Silk Double Cloth Scarf
Dyed in theindigo vat, this silk scarf has the traditional blue color on the ends and it lightens as it goes up to the center. I dyed it using the Ombre technique. The scarf was dipped three times in the indigo vat, each time advancing a little so the the lightest color comes out on top. Blue is a neutral that you can wear with everything.
The scarf is woven on a handloom in India by fair trade artisans. Two warps on the loom are woven at the same time, creating two layers joined by side seams. You can gently pull the layers apart to create more volume for styling.
Care: Lightweight, travel friendly, and washable on a gentle cycle. You can hang it to dry and iron it.
